Training centre
We have recently opened a training centre offering short courses in healthcare to businesses and individuals who want to update or refresh their training.
Who are our trainers?
Our training is provided by a former nurse and a qualified carer with combined 27 years of healthcare experience. They have worked in community mental health, general hospital, domiciliary, terminal illness, post operative, prison, care home and forensic care.
Facilities
We have a brand new training area with kitchen and toilet facilities, fax machine, a quiet room and capacity for 16 people. We also have TV & DVD player and four computers with printing and internet access.
We have the following care equipment on site:
- Standing hoist
- Full hoist and sling
- Hospital bed with guard sheet,
- wheelchairs
- feeding equipment
- toilet equipment, including commode and male and female bottles
- oral health and dental care equipment.
- Universal precaution equipment, including antibacterial gel, aprons and gloves.

Training Schedule
Training is provided from 09.30 to 16.00, Monday to Friday, but it is necessary to book in advance.

Prices
All our training is funded by Skills for care, so all we charge is £10 for each certificate we issue.
